Rajvinder Kaur Uppal
Plan B’s director Rajvinder Kaur Uppal has enjoyed an eclectic career working with individuals and businesses spanning three continents. She is an active member of the International Coaching Federation and Change Management Institute. Through this she holds citizenships in the UK, Canada, and residency status in India.
Specialising in equality and access via managerial and consultancy roles for various NGOs, Rajvinder transitioned to the film and television industry where she worked as a development executive and producer in both the UK and Canada. Through this and extensive travels to India, Rajvinder built up an unparalleled understanding of the benefits of diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
A career break in 2014 allowed Rajvinder to begin her MBA studies and complete an ISCP recognised Diploma from the Centre of Coaching in London. Affiliated with the British Psychological Society, this specialised in the fields of Stress Management; Performance Coaching; Problem Focused Counselling, Cognitive-Behavioural Approach and Coaching Psychology, as well as a Change Management Practitioner qualification.
Rajvinder has to date published four national and international articles around diversity, inclusion and coaching. She has also spoken on several panels around EDI, as well as creating and facilitating new commissions and workshops. Most recently, she has signed a deal with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council to publish a book on ‘Diversity, Coaching and Mentoring’ due mid 2021.
